Aker Secure Mail Gateway is a transparent protection and management system for e-mail servers. It represents an intermediate tool for transfering e-mails using the SMTP protocol. It offers anti-spam and attachment antivirus protection, message keywords and MIME content filtering. The product provides e-mail usage report generation, making it possible to know which users received or sent more e-mails, and the amount of infected attachments that attempted to enter the network, among other useful information.

Aker Secure Mail Gateway offers several administration options that provide configuration flexibility. These options are organized in intuitive menus, making the work of network administrators much easier.
